                  Blaze New Trails…Take Your Program From the Bunny Slopes to the Black Diamond

                  Inspired by the beautiful natural surroundings, the theme this year is “Blaze New Trails: Take Your Fundraising Program from the Bunny Slopes to the Black Diamond.” The keynote speaker will be Simone Joyaux, ACFRE, author and fundraising consultant. Come learn new ideas or hone your fundraising skills in a lovely mountain resort setting while networking with colleagues and vendors. Special thanks to KeyBank Vermont for co-sponsoring this event.

                  Call for Presentations

                  AFP-NNE is seeking proposals from presenters that address the theme of Blaze New Trails…Take Your Progam From the Bunny Slope to the Black Diamond.  Proposals should demonstrate approaches that help fundraising professionals understand donors and their philanthropic motivations, share successful tools to implement new knowledge and best practices, enhance community involvement, and bring together people with diverse perspectives to discuss key issues and opportunities in philanthropy.

                  If you are interested in presenting at the 2012 AFP-NNE Conference, we encourage you to submit an application.  If you have any speakers whom you would like to hear at the 2012 Conference, please send us those suggestions as well.  The deadline for submission is Wednesday, March 13, 2012, 5pm.

                  HOW TO SUBMIT A PROPOSAL TO MAKE A PRESENTATION
                  • Proposal applications are due by 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Your proposal must conform to the application instructions.  All proposals must be submitted via email. 
                  • When submitting your proposal electronically, please attach it to an email in a Word document.
                  • Word document format should be Ariel font, 10 point and no formatting (bolding, underline, italic,  etc)
                  • The lead presenter for each application will be notified via email within two weeks of receiving the application to verify receipt.
                  If you do not receive an email notification, it is an indication that your proposal was not received.

                  Thanks to everyone who attended and made the 2011 Conference a Success!  

                  In 2011 for the first time, AFP Northern New England and CONFR, New Hampshire’s Council on Fund Raising, hosted a joint conference for all fund-raising professionals, volunteer leaders, and others involved directly and indirectly in fund-raising for non-profits in Northern New England. 25 educational sessions were offered, headlined by keynote speakers Dick McPherson and Penelope Burk. Conference activities also included a Philanthropy Awards ceremony during Thursday lunch, and a Thursday evening networking reception.
